Aiko punya hobi baru. Hobi barunya adalah….pada saat jam menunjukkan pukul setengah sebelas malam dan mata saya sedang kriyep-kriyep mengantuk luar biasa, dia akan mengguncang-guncangkan muka saya -yang berhadapan dengan muka dia di bantal- sambil bilang, “Mamaaaam, jangan tidul. Aiko mau mengoblol dulu!”
Yaelaaaah Nak. Malam buta ngajak ngobrol!
Entah kenapa Aiko stel jam ngobrolnya di waktu-waktu mata orang tuanya sudah setengah watt. Tapi seperti biasa, dia selalu menang. Jadi, walaupun sambil terkantuk-kantuk, saya akan berusaha meladeni seluruh percakapannya dia. Biasanya obrolan dia dimulai dari mengabsen satu-satu lima belas temannya di sekolah. Aiko bersekolah di TK dekat rumah yang menggunakan metode bilingual.
“Tadi Carissa gak masuk. Sick.”
“Kata Bu Guru Carissa sakit apa?”
“Bukan. Kata Carissa, dia sakit.”
“Loh katanya Carissa gak masuk kok bisa bilang ke Aiko dia sakit?”
“Iya Mam! Carissa bilang dia sakit! Jadi dia gak masuk tadi.”
Yo wis lah. Ngapain juga emaknya pake bahas 🙁 . Lanjut!
“Peter masuk. Tapi tadi dia nangis. Peter sad.”
“Kenapa nangis?”
“Kan Peter suka nangis, Mam. Jadi dia masuk sekolah.”
Dan saya mengingatkan diri saya untuk mengajari logika berpikir pada anak umur 4 tahun ini!
“Nathan masuk.”
“Michelle masuk. Dia pakai baju Princess Cinderella. Aku juga mau baju princess. Tapi aku maunya Princess Elsa. Jadi Mamam jangan lupa belikan aku baju Princess Elsa ya! Please? Thank you, Mamam.”
“Lah?”
“Nicole tadi ada. Dia suka main masak-masakan. Aiko juga suka. Nicole bilang ke Peter jangan nangis.”
Kenapa tiba-tiba ada Peter lagi?
Begitu lah obrolan favorit Aiko dilakukan dengan kegiatan mengabsensi teman sekelasnya di TK kelas kecil. Setelah beberapa kali mengobrol dengannya, saya jadi hapal siapa temannya yang suka menangis, siapa yang suka berdandan, siapa yang suka iseng, siapa yang suka bawa makan siang french fries lengkap dengan burgernya.
Suatu kali saat Aiko mengobrol di depan asisten rumah tangga kami yang biasa mengurus keperluan dia, asisten kami itu berkomentar yang menggelitik saya.
“Dek, teman Aiko ada yang namanya Sari?”
“Nggak ada.”
“Citra?”
“Nggak ada.”
“Indra?”
“NGGGAAAK adaaa.”
Lalu si Papap ikut nimbrung.
“Yamin?”
“Nggaaaaak adaaaa.”
“Siti?”
“Nggak adaaaa!”
“Dodi?”
“Agus?”
“Lia?”
“Budi?”
“ENNGGAAAAK ADAAAAAAA!”
Maka saudara-saudara, begitu lah asal muasal punahnya nama Budi dan nama-nama Indonesia lainnya.
