Lampu merah di perempatan Kranggan-Cibubur di dekat Plaza Cibubur belum lagi setahun dipasang. Hari ini saya diundang teman untuk ikut gerakan Dukung penon-aktifan Traffic Light Plaza Cibubur di FB. Ya jelas, langsung saya approve. Saya ngaku sebagai salah satu pengguna jalan Alternatif Cibubur yang menderita lahir batin akibat macet panjang yang disebabkan oleh lampu merah itu. Saya juga ngaku sebagai salah satu yang sering ngomel panjang terhadap orang pintar yang punya ide memasang lampu merah itu disitu dengan pengaturan seperti itu!
“Niatnya baik,” kata Papap waktu untuk kesekian kalinya saya ngomel. “Supaya lancar dari sana kesini dari situ kesini.”
“Niat baik gak cukup, Be,” potong saya waktu itu. “Harus ditambah punya plan yang pintar juga.”
“Niatnya dulu lah,” kata Papap kekeuh.
“Ya, abis itu mikir. Niatnya baik mau bikin lalu lintas teratur. Bikinnya harus pintar. Masa disini hijau di seberang hijau juga. Ya nabrak! Ya tersendat juga. Niat baik gak cukup.”
“Ya itu kan perlu proses. Tapi semua yang didasari niat baik hasilnya baik.”
“Belum tentu begitu kejadiannya! Bisa aja niatnya jelek. Misalnya,” kata saya makin sewot, “niatnya mau cari muka sama atasan. Tapi niatnya itu bikin dia kerja keras. Kan hasilnya yang penting. Niatnya jelek gak keliatan.”
Papap diam.
“Kamu ngomongin siapa sih?”
Ah, sialan!
Balik ke soal lampu merah di Cibubur itu, saya dukung deh. Sesuai petunjuk Papap: Niatnya baik kok.

Pernah merasakan kemacetan dan keruwetan apabila Traffic Light Plaza Cibubur diaktifkan secara normal, dan median jalan di perempatan tersebut dibuka ?
Disamping menyebabkan kemacetan panjang, keruwetan juga menimbulkan bahaya akibat kendaraan dari arah Cileungsi yang bisa memotong ke arah Kranggan disaat kendaraan dari arah Jambore juga berjalan.
Masalah ini sudah disampaikan ke @TMCPoldaMetro via twitter, dan dijawab agar dikumpulkan semacam petisi online tentang hal ini.
Untuk itu,kita bersama-sama menyampaikan kepada semua pihak terkait (Polisi,Dishub,Pemda) agar:
1. Traffic Light Plaza Cibubur dinon-aktifkan
2. Tutup median jalan jl.alternatif di perempatan plaza cibubur, sehingga tidak ada lalu lintas yang memotong arus dari dan ke Jambore di perempatan tersebut.
Ajak juga sesama warga yang merasakan hal yang sama.
